Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Consultation: Greet customers, actively listen to their creative needs, and recommend the right cameras, lenses, lighting, and accessories.
  • Product Expertise: Stay up-to-date on the latest photography and videography gear, trends, and techniques to provide insightful advice.
  • Store Operations: Handle point-of-sale transactions, and assist with inventory restocking.
  • Photo Lab Support: Assist customers with film drop-offs, and passport photo processing.
  • Community Engagement: Help maintain a welcoming, inclusive shop environment, and occasionally assist with in-store workshops and photowalks.

What We’re Looking For

  • The Photography Bug: A genuine passion for photography or videography (film, digital, or mirrorless).
  • People Skills: Exceptional communication skills and a patient, helpful attitude—you can explain complex technical specs (like aperture and ISO) in simple terms.
  • Retail Experience: Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred.
  • Tech Savvy: Comfortable learning new POS systems, photo printing software, and basic troubleshooting for camera gear.
  • Flexibility: Availability to work on Saturdays.
