Night Photography

Harold has long taught night photo technique at New Haven's Creative Arts Workshop and has been fascinated with night photos since the 1970s. Learn better technique for long exposures, composition, and night time flash fill to name a few. Participants should have a working knowledge of their camera and be able to adjust camera functions such as shutter, aperture, ISO and white balance.

We'll meet at Milford Photo for review and demonstration then walk down to town hall for a shooting session supervised by Harold and assisted by Jess Thompson of Milford Photo.

Along with your DSLR camera, Harold asks participants to bring a tripod, remote release (if your camera takes one), flash light and (if you have one) a shoe mount flash.

This 3 hour class is limited to 20 participants.
